Elles ont provoqué une grande inquiétude chez les habitants du quartier de Champaign qui regrettent que la police ne les prennent pas au sérieux.
Linda Turnbull qui habite le quartier de Garden Hills et d’autres habitants qui ont vu ces lumières se sont plaint à la police.
Des enfants se sont mis à pleurer. Un des témoins, Cristal Hayes, dit que les lumières ont effrayé sa jeune nièce.
»Elle a littéralement commencé à pleurer », a déclaré Mme Hayes.
Le Chef de la police, Anthony Cobb, a déclaré que les officiers effectuaient des recherches mais que ne s’agissant pas d’un crime, il ne s’agit pas d’une enquête prioritaire !
En réalité, cette affaire a été immédiatement étouffée.

The police reports said the lights were headed north to rantoul, but whats even more interesting t me is that you clearly stated it was « dropping » something.
